Systems Family Constellations meets Expressive Movement
Jhb: 8th & 9th October 2016
With Tanja Meyburgh and Sian Palmer
The Moving Constellations experience is about coming home to yourself – connecting to your body, and becoming present and mindful in movement and relationships.
Moving Constellations is a collaboration between Sian Palmer and Tanja Meyburgh who are both passionate about embodiment and family constellations work. Through family constellations we can become aware of the network of relational dynamics that support or hinder us in our path to living life fully. The dance, in the form of Expressive Movement, supports a deeper embodied listening in the constellation field and creates a container for the gentle process of connecting to oneself and one’s trans-generational family system. This is a guided and gently held process for which no prior constellation or dance experience is necessary.

Venue: Houghton

About your Facilitators
Tanja Meyburgh, counselling psychologist, had her first experience of constellations in 2002 and since then is immersed in family and systems constellations work through her practice, training facilitators and writing extensively about her experiences with this work. What excites her about constellations is the possibility to engage the head, heart and body in the healing process, as well as the bridge that it offers between ancient and indigenous ways of healing and modern concepts of psychology, epigenetics and neuroscience.
